This law is about special 'FIREFIGHTERS MEMORIAL' license plates in Missouri. 301.3129. Firefighters, special s — fee, appearance of , procedure — definition of person eligible for plate — . — 1. Any person, as defined by 3 of this section, may apply for special license plates for any motor vehicle such person owns, either solely or jointly, other than an or a d in excess of twenty-four thousand . Any person desiring a special license plate as provided by this section shall make an application for the special license plates on a form provided by the and furnish of eligibility as the may require.
2. Upon payment of a fifteen dollar fee in addition to the and other documents which may be required by law, the shall to the vehicle owner a which shall bear an designed by the director or the director's and shall bear the words "FIREFIGHTERS MEMORIAL" in place of the words "SHOW-ME STATE". Such license plates shall be made with with a common color scheme and design, shall be clearly visible at night, and shall be aesthetically attractive, as prescribed by section 301.130. the of section 301.144, no additional fee shall be charged for the of license plates this section.
3. As used in this section the term "person" shall mean:
(1) A person wounded in the as a firefighter; or
(2) A , parent, brother, sister, or adult child, including an adopted child or stepchild, of a person killed in the line of duty as a firefighter.
4. The director of revenue shall make necessary for the of this section, and shall design all necessary forms required by this section. Any or portion of a rule, as that term is defined in section 536.010, that is created under the in this section shall become effective only if it complies with and is subject to all of the provisions of and, if applicable, section 536.028.
