A person who is an active or alumni member of a Missouri Jaycees chapter can get special license plates for a car or certain commercial trucks they own. The plates say 'MISSOURI JAYCEES' and show the Jaycees shield. There is an extra fee on top of normal fees, and only one set of these plates is given per qualified person.
301.466. Jaycees, special — , procedure, design, fee. — 1. Any person who is an active member or of any Missouri chapter of the junior chamber of commerce may apply for special motor vehicle license plates for any motor vehicle he owns, either solely or jointly, for either to passenger motor vehicles subject to the provided in section 301.055, or for a d for a of nine thousand one up through and including twenty-four thousand pounds as provided in section 301.057.
2. Any such person shall make application for the special license plates on a form provided by the and furnish such of membership in the junior chamber of commerce as the may require. The director shall then license plates bearing the words "MISSOURI JAYCEES" in place of the words "SHOW-ME STATE" in a form prescribed by the established in section 301.129*. Such license plates shall be made with with a common color scheme and design, shall be clearly visible at night, and shall be aesthetically attractive, as prescribed by section 301.130. Such s shall also bear the shield of the Missouri junior chamber of commerce to the left of the or numbers or combination thereof.
3. There shall be a fee charged for each set of Missouri junior chamber of commerce license plates issued equal to the fee charged for in addition to other fees required by law. No more than one set of Missouri junior chamber of commerce license plates shall be issued to a . License plates issued under the of this section shall not be to any other person except that any of the motor vehicle shall be entitled to operate the motor vehicle with such plates for the duration of the year licensed in the event of the death of the qualified person.
