Court shall send order to department of revenue

When a court limits someone's driving because of a drunk driving case, the court has to send that order to the state's Department of Revenue. The order explains that the person must use a special car breathalyzer device and for how long. The Department of Revenue keeps a record showing that the device is required.

302.456. Court shall send to keeping required. — The court shall send the order to the department of revenue in all cases where the of a person is restricted section 302.440. The order shall contain the requirement for, and the period of, the use of a under sections 302.440 to 302.462. The records of the department of revenue shall contain a record reflecting mandatory use of the device.
