Applicability of certain state statutes to motor vehicle liability policies, when
Certain Missouri laws about car insurance started applying to new or renewed policies on or after July 1, 2019. Car insurance policies that were already in effect before that date still counted as valid proof of insurance for the rest of that policy's term.
303.022. Applicability of certain state statutes to motor vehicle policies, when. — Sections 105.1073, 303.020, 303.030, 303.120, 303.190, and 303.240 shall apply to motor vehicle liability policies, as defined in section 303.190, that are issued or renewed in Missouri on or after July 1, 2019, and to any applicable under section 303.240 or * (2), (3), or (4) of 1 of section 303.160 that goes into effect on or after July 1, 2019. A in effect prior to July 1, 2019, shall continue to constitute with the of this chapter for the of the term of that policy.
