This law says that the rules in sections 303.010 to 303.370 only apply going forward. They do not take away any rights a person already had before this law took effect. They also do not give new rights to someone whose legal claim started before this law. And a person in a lawsuit can still use other laws to seek help.
303.360. Not to operate retrospectively. — Sections 303.010 to 303.370 shall not be so as to any person of any rights which may have before the of this law, or as conferring any rights upon any person whose arose prior to the effective date of this law, nor as preventing the in any from relying for upon other provided by law.
