This law says that the rules in this chapter about car insurance and financial responsibility do not apply to vehicles owned by the government — like the U.S. government, the state of Missouri, or local governments. It also does not apply to certain bus or trucking companies that are already regulated and have met insurance or bond requirements set by their regulators.
303.350. Chapter not applicable to government or s. — anything else herein contained, this chapter shall not apply with respect to any motor vehicle owned by the United States, the state of Missouri, or any of this state, or any therein, nor shall this chapter apply to any common carrier or whose operations are subject to the of and are regulated by the or the of Missouri, or by regulatory of the municipalities by such , and which shall have satisfied any applicable requirements concerning , insurance or imposed by the having jurisdiction over the 's operations.
