Modification of agreement
When two parents have a custody agreement during a military deployment, they can change that agreement if both parents agree. If the change happens before the deployment starts, it must be written down and signed by both parents and anyone else who will watch the child. If the change happens during the deployment, both parents and anyone else caring for the child must agree to it in some kind of written or recorded form.
452.1218. of agreement. — 1. By mutual , the parents of a child may an agreement regarding made sections 452.1214 to 452.1222.
2. If an agreement is under 1 of this section before of a , the modification must be in writing and signed by both parents and any who will exercise custodial responsibility under the modified agreement.
3. If an agreement is modified under subsection 1 of this section during deployment of a deploying parent, the modification must be agreed to in a by both parents and any nonparent who will exercise custodial responsibility under the modified agreement.
