Order for child support
If a court has given someone the right to take care of a child, or if a written agreement was made giving that care authority, a court can make a temporary order for child support. This only happens if the court has the legal power to handle child support in that situation.
452.1242. for child support. — If a court has issued an order granting under sections 452.1224 to 452.1244, or an agreement granting caretaking authority has been under sections 452.1214 to 452.1222, the court may enter a for child support consistent with law of this state other than sections 452.1200 to 452.1258 if the court has under sections 454.1500 to 454.1730.
