Equipment purchased by county for support enforcement to be property of county
If a county in Missouri buys equipment to help enforce child support, that equipment belongs to the county — not the state. This is true no matter what other laws or rules might say otherwise.
454.402. Equipment purchased by county for support to be property of county. — The of law, or , any equipment purchased by a county of this state for child support enforcement purposes shall be the property of the county and not the state.
