When not to apply to corporations

The rules in sections 516.380 to 516.420 do not apply when someone sues a money-lending or financial corporation, or its directors or stockholders, to collect a penalty or enforce a legal obligation. Those kinds of lawsuits must be filed within six years from the day the person finds out about the facts that created the penalty or legal obligation.
