Someone who legally owns or keeps a large carnivore (like a lion or tiger) needs to get a special permit before moving that animal in a vehicle. The permit must follow all federal and state rules that apply to large carnivores.
578.612. for transport of animal required. — A person of a under sections 578.600 to 578.624 shall be required to obtain a permit to transport the large carnivore in a vehicle in with all federal and requirements applicable to such large carnivores.
