Security, form and amount

Random law
In plain English

After a car accident, the state can require someone to put up money (called security) as a kind of financial guarantee. The person putting up the money tells the state who it is meant to cover, but one deposit can only cover people involved in that same accident. The state director can lower the required amount within one year if it seems too high, and any extra money already deposited gets returned right away.
