Vehicle registration suspended on suspension of license for conviction or bail forfeiture

Random law
In plain English

When the state suspends or takes away someone's driver's license because of a conviction or a bail forfeiture, the state also suspends the registration for all cars in that person's name. To get the license and registration back, that person has to show proof that they have car insurance or other financial responsibility, and keep that proof going forward. If someone was not licensed at the time of the conviction, no license or registration can be issued to them later until they show that same proof. This also applies to out-of-state drivers who lose their driving privileges in Missouri.
