If a farm machine has a problem that seriously affects how it works or its value, and the maker cannot fix it after a fair number of tries, the maker has to give the buyer a choice. The buyer can get a similar new machine, or get their money back — including extra costs they paid — minus a small amount for however long they used the machine. If someone else has a loan on the machine, that lender gets part of the refund too.
407.588. Replacement of farm machinery or refund of purchase price, when — deducted for 's use — refund made to whom. — 1.
