Proceeds used for support of himself or herself and family
If someone gets money or property under certain Missouri laws about marriage and divorce, that money can be used to take care of themselves and their family.
452.230. used for support of himself or herself and family. — All the proceeds of such sales, and all other money and which shall come to the hands of a person by force of the of sections 451.250 to 451.300 and sections 452.130, 452.140, 452.170 to 452.190 and 452.210 to 452.250, may be used and by him or her for the necessary support of himself or herself and family.
