Employer's receipt of income withholding order of another state
If someone owes child support and a different state has issued an order to take money from their paycheck, that order can be sent straight to their employer in Missouri. There is no need to go to a Missouri court first.
454.1611. Employer's receipt of of another state. — An income withholding order issued in another state may be sent by or on behalf of the , or by the , to the person defined as the 's employer under section 452.350 or 454.505 without first a or or with a of this state.
