Registration of convention support order
When someone wants this state to recognize a support order from another country (called a Convention support order), they have to register it by following a specific process. To register it, they have to turn in several documents — including the full support order, proof it is valid in the country it came from, proof the other person was properly notified, any record of unpaid amounts owed, and other related records. A court in this state can throw out the registration on its own if enforcing the order would go strongly against the state's basic rules of fairness. The court has to quickly let both sides know whether the order was registered or thrown out.
454.1695. of . — (a) Except as otherwise provided in this Article, sections 454.1680 to 454.1716, a who is an individual or a seeking of a Convention support order shall the in this state as provided in Article 6, sections 454.1632 to 454.1677.

(4) a record showing the amount of , if any, and the date the amount was calculated;
(5) a record showing a requirement for automatic adjustment of the amount of support, if any, and the necessary to make the appropriate calculations; and
(6) if necessary, a record showing the extent to which the received free legal assistance in the issuing country.
(c) A request for registration of a Convention support order may seek recognition and partial of the order.
(d) A tribunal of this state may the registration of a Convention support order without the of a under section 454.1698 only if, acting , the tribunal finds that of the order would be .
(e) The tribunal shall promptly notify the parties of the registration or the order vacating the registration of a Convention support order.
