Notice of time for settlement

Random law
In plain English

The court clerk mails a reminder to the person managing a deceased person's estate, letting them know when they need to turn in their financial report. This reminder must be sent at least 40 days before the due date. However, if the person says they never got the reminder, that does not get them out of trouble — they still have to turn in the report on time.
