When an executor or administrator gets a court notice for not turning in their required report on time, they can still turn it in late. If they do, the court fines them up to $100 for being late — unless they can show the court it was truly impossible to file on time. The fine gets paid to the county, and the executor or administrator along with their bondspeople are responsible for paying it.
