If a person's driver's license or car registration gets suspended, or their required insurance or bond is cancelled, they have to send their license and registration back to the director of motor vehicles right away. If they do not send them back, the director can have the highway patrol or police officers take the license and registration and return them.
303.330. and ed to , when. — Any person whose license or registration shall have been as herein provided, or whose policy of insurance or , when required under this chapter, shall have been or terminated, or who shall to furnish other upon request of the director shall immediately return his license and registration to the director. If any person shall fail to return to the director the license or registration as provided herein or in any other chapter, the director may direct the Missouri state patrol or any peace or police officer to secure thereof and return the same to the director.
