Jurisdiction to modify child support order of another state when individual parties reside in this state
If everyone involved (the parents or parties) all live in Missouri, and the child does not live in the state that originally made the child support order, then a Missouri court has the power to enforce or change that out-of-state child support order. When Missouri handles the case, it uses Missouri laws and rules.
